Written Electrical Safety Schemes

Numerous industries under the HSE have the requirement to provide written electrical safety schemes for their sites. CTF has developed a scheme template that details both statutory required documentation and particular site documentation. In the format of a PowerPoint presentation, this provides part of site inductions for both internal and external engineers. The schemes detail where all site documentation can be found and provides other key linked information within the accompanying database.

Typical information included

· Bespoke safe lock out systems.

· HSE regulations, guidelines and systems of work.

· High & Low Voltage main distribution diagrams inclusive of fault levels and the systems resilience or otherwise.

· Arc flash risks and appropriate ARC PPE requirements.

· Manuals and data sheets for all main and key equipment.

· Test and Inspection schedules.
